From the top of his hairless scalp to his feet, Ceigdraga is immediately recognizable as a Sea Wolf. Skin the color of sea foam anoints him, weathered from countless days in the sun and seasoned by the spray of the sea that surrounded his early years. His emerald eyes are framed above by a prominent brow, which flows into a wide-set nose. Scars from hard-fought battles dot his features, two of the most striking crossing over his right eye and nose. Just as his brows frame the top of his face, so does a dark teal beard frame the bottom. Full, but not wild, it follows up to his ears, where it abruptly ends.

With the original gambeson long since destroyed, Ceigdraga’s main outfit has been significantly changed. Wraps of cloth now drape across the shoulders of a thickly-padded top, silvery, intricate designs of a Sharlayan bend sewn into the white. The ensemble was ringed – and held in place – by a silvered chain, studded with blue stones, that ended in a shoulderpad that, on the outset, seemed more decorative than functional. His gloves, fingerless and sewn of the same padded fabric, also sport silvery plates, of the same light, possibly decorative angle as the shoulderpad. His waist is ringed by a white-and-silver girdle, cloth ‘belts’ criss-crossing across the girdle to seemingly hold it in place. Resting upon his lower back, well within reach of his right hand, sat two daggers in a double-sheath, though they lacked a crossguard that was usually found among such hand-held weaponry. The whole ensemble ended with slightly pointed shoes, perhaps the most functional over ornate of the pieces.

When not needing the extra protection that the battle-ready gear affords him, Ceigdraga can be found in a casual outfit, more befitting of a former pirate. A thin leather vest over a gray blouse adorns his chest, a deep-cut v-neck nearly splitting the blouse in half. His pants are a loose, comfortable pair of trousers, dyed alternating strips of grey and black, that falls to his mid-calf. His shoes take up the rest of the space, relatively flat-footed boots made for walking across the deck of a ship. Now freed from their prison beneath the gambeson, a pair of necklaces can be seen hanging from him, a steel shark’s tooth above a more traditional silver arrow. His flask now hangs at his side, still openly available to be drank from. In addition, what seems to be a compass rests on his hip, a violet gem of aethercrystal sticking out of its top.

Unlike the original, plain staff, or the violet-tipped replacement that he had acquired after the former had been crushed by the roots of a tree, his new staff was much more suited to one of his size, with a comfort built in that gave the suggestion of it being custom-made for him exactly. A great metal ‘wing’ encircled the head of the staff, joined by a vine that snaked its way down to the grip of the staff. The head itself was topped with a sapphire-colored gem, the etchings upon its surface of a distinctly Sharlayan design. Indeed, the metalwork was primarily influenced by the techniques of the scholar-nation, though practitioners of blacksmithing could still see hints of adopted techniques among the display. In what appeared to be a sort of pragmatism, the base of the staff was also metal, with a point at the end that looked more than just for decoration. Even with the lack of obvious muscle on the Roegadyn, said point could easily be turned into a weapon with enough weight set behind it.

I just wanted to say: Thank you for taking the time to read this!

I'm a long-time roleplayer, since 2006, in fact. Though I am a few months new to Final Fantasy, I have extensive experience in World of Warcraft, Guild Wars 2, and forum roleplay! I'm also a dirty paragraph poster.

If that doesn't dissuade you, feel free to contact me! I'm usually on from the afternoon to late evenings.

(( If you're curious about how heavy he is, I like to be realistic with my measurements of my characters. Factoring in the square-cube law, there is no world in which a male Roe would be less than 500 lbs. ))
